Michael Franzese lived an improbable life and then he did the impossible -- he quit the Mob without testifying or receiving government protection. Now, almost 20 years later, married with a family, he candidly shares his stories of surviving racketeering indictments, criminal trials, prison, and a Mafia death sentence with audiences throughout the country.
Once dubbed "The Prince of the Mafia" by Tom Brokaw, Michael was sworn in as a member of the Columbo family on Halloween night 1975. He quickly became a moneymaker using his education and business acumen to navigate the fringes of legitimate business

| He masterminded not-so-legitimate scams from auto dealerships to union kick-backs, from financial services to sports and entertainment gambling and to the infamous multibillion dollar gasoline bootlegging/tax scheme, for which he was eventually sentenced to prison in 1985 on racketeering charges. |
