The School of Science, Technology and Engineering Management (STEM) offers baccalaureate programs in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science that combine high quality teaching with undergraduate research experiences. The Mathematics program is oriented towards Applied Mathematics, with special interest in mathematical methods applicable to Earth and Atmospheric Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, and Computer Science. The STU School of STEM invites applications for a position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor of Mathematics beginning August 2014
PhD in Mathematics from an accredited higher education institution, outstanding record in research, appropriate to rank and teaching, commitment to high quality teaching and ability to work in a multicultural environment. Selected candidate is expected to contribute to and promote undergraduate research within the Mathematics program as well as across programs offered by the School, to do outreach and to recruit new students, and to be an active grant writer.
