Provide clerical/intake support in the provision of services to immigrants. Will assist program applicants with completion of a variety of forms for use by the department and governmental agencies; conduct initial and/or exit interviews, establish and maintain files and records; translate official documents and asylum applications; other duties as assigned.
College degree or degree coursework preferred. Must be able to travel between Palm Beach and Broward offices.
Above-average customer service skills with the ability to meet the public and deal with a variety of clientele using tact, poise, patience and courtesy. Computer literacy required. Bilingual (Eng/Span) required.
Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 4:30PM. This is a grant-funded position.
