Alumnus Alex A. Hanna ’00 Names the

St. Thomas University School of Law Library

Mr. Hanna’s latest gift pushes the School’s Naming Campaign donations over the halfmillion dollar mark

St. Thomas University School of Law Class of ‘00 alumnus Alex Hanna has donated $250,000 to name the School’s Law Library. Mr. Hanna’s generous donation – the largest single gift donated by an alumnus in the Law School’s history – is part of the on-going St. Thomas University School of Law Naming Campaign.

In addition to naming the “Alex A. Hanna School of Law Library”, Mr. Hanna previously donated $25,000 to name the Law School’s Main Entrance, making the young alumnus a significant part of helping the Naming Campaign reach $560,000 in donations to-date.

“I would like to personally thank Mr. Hanna for his extraordinary donations, deep commitment and continual support of the St. Thomas University School of Law,” said Mark Casale, St. Thomas University School of Law Director of Major Gifts and Alumni Affairs. “These gifts (along with the dozens of other Naming Campaign donations made by School of Law alumni, friends and supporters) are vital to supporting the School’s future.”
