International Visitors Participate in
Human Trafficking Roundtable on Campus

A distinguished group of visitors visited the St. Thomas campus July 28 to participate in a round table, interactive discussion on combating trafficking for labor exploitation purposes. The Law School Atrium Conference Room was packed with attorneys, law enforcement and immigration experts, other government officials and NGO representatives from Western and Eastern Europe who joined STU intercultural human rights students and Dr. Roza Pati, Dr. Siegfried Wiessner and Dr. Christine Reis in the information exchange of experience and expertise. Issues affecting labor and human trafficking problems in countries like Italy and Croatia were exposed contributing to the analytical and crises management leadership skills that are developed for the human rights students at STU. For further information on the intercultural human rights degrees and activities this new fiscal year, please contact Dr. Roza Pati at rpati@stu.edu.
