JOIN US IN WELCOMING NEW SCHOOL OF LAW
DEAN DOUGLAS E. RAY

Monsignor Casale recently announced the appointment of Douglas E. Ray as Dean of St. Thomas University School of Law. Dean Ray is an experienced and highly regarded leader in legal education. He has served as the Dean of the Widener School of Law, with campuses in Pennsylvania and Delaware, and most recently as the Dean of the University of Toledo College of Law. Dean Ray has a J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School and a B.A., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota. He is an expert in labor management relations, a field in which he has co-authored two leading treatises and over twenty law journal articles. His early career included military service, private practice and service in the US Department of Labor in Washington, D.C.

Dean Ray will assume full-time duties at the School of Law on October 1, 2010. In the interim he will be present on campus a few days most weeks beginning in August.
