Law Student honored for Leading Change in Foster Care

St. Thomas University School of Law honored Mike Dunlavy, a first year law student, who was recently selected by the Casey Foundation as a recipient of the prestigious Ruth Massinga Award, given annually to recognize foster care constituents who work to provide, improve or prevent the need for foster care.

The ceremony took place January 29 in the School of Law and was presided by Alfredo Garcia, Dean of the School of Law, and George Sheldon, Secretary of the Department of Children and Families in the State of Florida (and former Associate Dean here at STU Law).
