Representatives from Moldova visit School of Law to Discuss Human Rights

A delegation from Moldova sent by the U.S. Department of Human Rights visited St. Thomas University for a dialogue with members of the Intercultural Human Rights Program regarding issues of human trafficking and human rights.
The delegation, which was comprised of government officials as well as representatives from national and international non-governmental organizations, joined Professor Roza Pati and her students of the Human Trafficking Law & Policy class to discuss anti trafficking efforts in the U.S. and shared their Moldovan experiences in human trafficking issues.
St. Thomas University’s LL.M. /J.S.D. Program in Intercultural Human Rights has been a center of dialogue regarding issues of human trafficking for many international delegations sent to us by the U.S. Department of State, including delegations from Mexico, Venezuela and Jordan.
