STU Communication Student Awarded at Conference

St. Thomas University Institute for Communications, Entrainment and Media was strongly represented last week at the 80th Annual Florida Communications Association Conference. Communication Professors Marcela Moyano-Rosero and Dr. Andrea Campbell presented a panel on their paper “Using New Media in a 21st Century World.” Additionally, graduate communication student Begoñe Cazalis presented in the poster session her master’s thesis “Chavez and The Media: Venezuelan Power Wars,” for which she was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Poster Presentation Award.
