STU Honored by U.S. Census

St. Thomas University was honored by the U.S. Census for its participation in increasing Census awareness as well as its collaboration in the technical training of Census employees.

Communication professor Marcela Moyano-Rosero, Graduate Communication student Fernando J. Rosero and Political Science alumna Alejandra Rosero participated in the United States Census 2010 Collegiate Summit, which took place January 15-17. The purpose of the summit was to raise awareness and inspire college students to complete the US Census questionnaire. In addition, the St. Thomas University Office of Information Technology offered their technical services and facilities for the training of Census employees.
