STU Hosts Autism Spectrum Disorder Prom for Third Year

St. Thomas University worked for the third year in a row with Dade County Public Schools to ensure that special needs students can have the same experiences as the rest of the student body. The Miami Dade County School Autism Spectrum Disorder Prom took place at the George and Evelyn Goldbloom Convocation Hall for the third year Wednesday, May 12. Hundreds of students, family and friends came together for an afternoon of music, food and festivities. Special thanks to the St. Thomas University Student Government Association who volunteered their time to make this event happen.
