Student Receives Community Leadership Award

Andrej Milic, a graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Management degree in Justice Administration, was selected as a winner for the 2010 Community Leadership Award from the President's Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition.
The President's Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition (PCFSN) is a committee appointed by the President to promote healthy lifestyles through fitness, sports and nutrition programs. The PCFSN Community Leadership Award, which is given out annually to 50 individuals who provide or enhance opportunities for the community to engage in sports, physical activities, or fitness-related programs, was awarded to Milic for the Milic Sports Club.
Milic's sports company offers mixed martial arts training within schools for children 3 and up. The Milic Sports Club currently serves various local schools and is designed for children to learn self-defense, leadership, service, gratitude, respect and a positive mental attitude.
