STU hosts FACTA (Florida Association of College Test Administrators) Region V 2013 Regional Meeting

On May 9th, 2013, St. Thomas University welcomed FACTA (Florida Association of College Test Administrators) members to Region V 2013 Regional Meeting. Tatiana Pullen, Testing Center Manager, hosted the event, along with Maritza Rivera, Academic Enhancement Center Director. There were seven colleges/universities represented, including: Broward College, Edison State College, Florida Atlantic University, Florida International University, Indian River State College, Miami Dade College and St. Thomas University (STU). Jenny Krugman, Regional Vice President, from The College Board presented at the event. Dr. Gregory Chan, Provost of the University & Chief Academic Officer, and Dr. Susan Angulo, Associate Provost , supported the event and not only welcomed the attendees to STU, but also joined some of the presentations.

St. Thomas University’s Testing Center is open to STU and non-STU students. Among the exams offered are: Accuplacer, CLEP (College Level Examination Program), DSST (formerly known as the DANTES Program), MAT (Miller Analogies Test) and the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) exam.
