Welcome to the St. Thomas University Parents and Families Program!
The 2013 – 2014 school year marks the inaugural year of our Parents and Families Program. We’re excited that you are here!
The St. Thomas University experience is one that shapes students lives and futures, and we know that parent and family support is crucial for the well being and success of your son or daughter throughout their time here at STU.
As we welcome students to campus and the St. Thomas University community, we extend that same invitation to parents and families through the STU Parents and Families Program. Every parent, grandparent, and other guardian or relative caring for a STU young adult becomes a member of the STU Parents Association when their student enrolls at STU. The Parents Association is open to every adult playing a significant role in the life of a student attending STU.
The STU Parents Program exists to provide support and information to the parents and families of students attending the university, and to partner with families to create programs that would be beneficial to new and existing parents and families, as well as the university.
We encourage you to become an active member so we can keep you up to date on the latest STU news and events, invitations to parent and family centered events, and volunteer opportunities within our Parents Association and Parents Council. We look forward to sending you updates about Homecoming, a Parent and Families Weekend or Day Event, as well as other special opportunities to connect with other STU Families.
