Fernandez Fellowship Program
The Fernandez Fellowship Program assigns Lead Now graduates a professional mentor who guides students through their college experience. Mentors are selected based on students’ academic interest. Students attend workshops to continue their leadership training in their respective professional fields. Internship opportunities are also available as part of students’ experiential learning.
Upon Completion of the Program
Completion of the program requires students’ successful performance of two summer sessions. Students are required to PASS the college preparatory courses in mathematics, reading and writing. Also, students must earn a grade of B or higher in the two college courses COM 102 Society and Mass Media and COM 105 Speech.
Having completed the above requirements, students achieve St. Thomas University admission to any of the Bachelor programs, and receive an annual $5,000 Fernandez Fellowship Scholarship.
