Academic Enhancement Center

The Academic Enhancement Center offers courses and services, which, are intended to (1) assist students in achieving academic excellence, (2) prepare students for academic work at the college level, and (3) assist non-native students in developing English language skills. Alternate modes of instruction, such as one-on-one tutorials, computer-assisted instruction, small groups and individualized instruction are used to address the needs of the students seeking assistance.

 Courses & Services include the following:

• Skills courses in reading, writing, math and ESL
• Disabled Student Academic Services
• Tutoring Services
• Florida College Entry Level Placement Test
• College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
• Miller Analogies Test (MAT)
• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
• General Knowledge Test preparation (Math portion)

 The Academic Enhancement Center is located in the Institute for Workforce Enhancement Bldg.
