You are ready to make the change and want a smooth transition. STU wants to help you with the STU Transfer Experience!

St. Thomas University is committed to helping you make a smooth transition as you pursue your new academic career. Admission Officers are available to answer your questions.

We’re here to help you through success:

  • Offering you a flexible schedule to start for the Fall, Spring and Summer Semesters. We even have condensed fall semesters:
  • One-on-one academic advising
  • Scholarship Opportunities! Over 90% of STU students, receive scholarships. Fill out the form and request more information on how much you qualify for.

Additionally, St. Thomas University is now a TRIO Educational Opportunity Center. This Federally-funded Educational Opportunity Center provides counseling and information to adults 19 and older from disadvantaged backgrounds – low-income individuals, first-generation college students, individuals with disabilities, and veterans – on options to start or complete a college degree. Students from closed for-profit colleges, like ITT, are encouraged to take advantage of this FREE service to help identify the best next steps for them.

The Educational Opportunity Center grant provides tutoring in ACT and SAT test preparation, financial aid workshops, campus visits to college and universities in the area, financial literacy workshops, and assistance with completing applications to colleges and universities. Program services are available to students at North Miami High School, Carol City High School, as well as residents of North Miami, Opa-locka, and Miami Gardens. To participate in this program, contact Gretell Garcia at (305) 628-6629; or email ggarcia@stu.edu.
