PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT
The School of Law complies with Standard 305 of the American Bar Association and prohibits full-time law students from maintaining employment in excess of 20 hours per week.
DEAN’S FELLOWS
Upper level law students who have demonstrated excellence in their academic careers are selected by the Assistant Dean for Academic Support and the faculty to lead study sessions for students enrolled in required first-year courses. Dean’s Fellows work a maximum of 20 hours per week. An average award is $1,500 per semester.
LEGAL RESEARCH ASSISTANTS
Students who have completed the first year of law school may be eligible for positions as research assistants. Research assistants work a maximum of 20 hours per week. An average award is $1,500 per semester. Research assistants are selected by faculty members and are generally students who have demonstrated strong research and scholastic abilities.
WORK STUDY PROGRAM
This need-based program provides on-campus jobs for second- and third-year students. The application process is similar to that for federal financial aid. An average “work study” award is $1,500 per semester.
