Assistant Professor of Christian Ethics

The School of Theology and Ministry at St. Thomas University seeks applicants for a full-time permanent position in Christian ethics at the rank of assistant or associate professor for fall 2013. The position provides opportunities for teaching a wide range of courses in the B.A., M. A. M.Div. and Ph. D. degree programs.

Applicants are expected to have a completed Ph.D. in moral theology or Christian ethics at the time of the appointment and should exhibit competence in teaching as well as promise with regard to the development of significant scholarly research, and publication. The School of Theology and Ministry especially welcomes applications from candidates with the ability to teach a range of courses including social ethics.The candidate is expected to work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues and support the School of Theology and Ministry’s commitment to inclusiveness, social justice, and ecumenical and inter-religious collaboration.
