Archbishop Favalora to Dedicate

Carnival Cruise Lines

Science & Technology Building

The Carnival Cruise Lines Science and Technology Building is now a reality. Students and faculty have been touring the state-of-the art facility and enjoying the mobile art sculpture at its entrance. Housing the School of Science, Technology, and Engineering Management, the building features teaching laboratories and teaching support facilities for biology, chemistry, computer science, and physics.

Dedicated research laboratory space fitted with modern equipment provide students opportunities to interact one-on-one with faculty members conducting original scientific research in the sciences. The building’s new Scientific Discovery Laboratory will be used to promote science and technology to the local community to encourage young students to pursue careers in science and engineering. It will include interactive laboratory models, displays, and demonstrations to teach the community about modern topics in the sciences.

Mark your calendars for the building’s dedication ceremony, tours and luncheon, Monday, September 22, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. STU is proud of developing our future science leaders!
