Mercedes Pino, Esq.

Mercedes Pino, Esq. manages the Office of Career Services.  In addition to her administrative responsibilities, she provides counseling to students and alumni, presents programs on all aspects of creating a job search, and provides assistance in revising job search documents.  Mercedes received her B.S. from Florida State University, her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, and her M.S. in Human Resource Management from Nova Southeastern University. She is also  a member of the Florida Bar.



Lourdes B. Fernandez, Esq.,
Outreach Coordinator & Career Counselor

Lourdes Fernandez is the Outreach Coordinator & Career Counselor. She advises students on all private sector careers, including firms and corporations. Lourdes also advises students on the application process for post-graduate judicial law clerk positions.  She is a graduate of St. Thomas University School of Law and has over 11 years of experience as a law clerk in Federal court.  She is admitted to practice in Florida, and before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.  She has also been an active member of the Peter T. Fay American Inns of Court since 2003 and served as the Assistant Treasurer for the Federal Bar Association, South Florida Chapter from 2004-2008.



Robert Jack, Esq.
Public Interest Career Counselor

Robert Jack is our Public Interest Career Counselor. He specializes in advising students on all public interest careers including government, non-profit, legal services and alternative careers. Robert also advises students on job search strategies for out-of-state opportunities and international public interest law organizations. He received his B.A. from Stanford University and his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston. He is admitted to practice in Florida and Massachusetts (inactive), and is also a member of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.



Angela Geter
Recruiting / Reciprocity Coordinator

Angela Geter organizes recruiting programs. Angela assists employers, students, and alumni, including coordinating on-campus interviews, scheduling appointments to meet with the career services counselors, posting job openings, and processing reciprocity requests.  Angela earned a B.A. and M.A. from St. Thomas University.
