Mercedes Pino, Esq. manages the Office of Career Services. In addition to her administrative responsibilities, she provides counseling to students and alumni, presents programs on all aspects of creating a job search, and provides assistance in revising job search documents. Mercedes received her B.S. from Florida State University, her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, and her M.S. in Human Resource Management from Nova Southeastern University. She is also a member of the Florida Bar.

Director of Pro Bono & Public Interest Career Counselor

Jennifer Portwood Gordon, Esq. coordinates the Pro Bono Program, the ADL Summer Research Program, and the STU LRAP (the John & June Mary Makdisi Loan Forgiveness Fund & the Mr. & Mrs. Stanley G. Tate Loan Forgiveness Fund). Jennifer specializes in counseling on careers in the public sector, including government positions and alternative careers. She is also available for resume and cover letter review. Jennifer received her B.A. from Florida State University and her J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law and is a member of the Florida Bar.

Outreach Coordinator and Career Counselor

Terra Dubois, Esq. directs the employer outreach program and provides career development counseling for students and alumni. Terra builds and maintains relationships with legal employers and organizes opportunities for employer participation in school events, including panel discussions, speaking engagements, and student mentoring. She is also available for resume and cover letter review. Terra received her B.S. and J.D. from the University of Florida. She is a member of both the Florida and Georgia Bar.

Recruiting / Reciprocity Coordinator

Angela Geter organizes recruiting programs. Angela assists employers, students, and alumni, including coordinating on-campus interviews, scheduling appointments to meet with the career services counselors, posting job openings, and processing reciprocity requests. Angela earned a B.A. and M.A. from St. Thomas University.
