The STU B.A.S.I.C offers an array of school-related services to current and prospective undergraduate, graduate and law school students, including registration, financial aid and student account issues. The Center brings together qualified and trained professionals from the various offices within the university to offer individualized, fast and friendly assistance in one convenient location.

The STU B.A.S.I.C is dedicated to providing high quality and efficient service to students with experienced professionals from all areas in one office with the commitment to increase student satisfaction.
The B.A.S.I.C is located in Kennedy Hall in front of the Registrar’s Office.
RECORDS
The Registrar’s Office maintains a complete file on every former and current student at St. Thomas University for a period of at least five years following the student’s last registration at St. Thomas University. The student’s academic record at St. Thomas University is maintained in perpetuity.
Each file contains:
- all applications and documentation submitted by the student during the admissions process, including high school and college transcript.
- an official record of transfer credits accepted by St. Thomas University.
- any academic waivers awarded the student.
St. Thomas University, is compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as amended (known as the Buckely Amendment), assures the confidentiality of students educational records. Students have the right to review their records for accuracy in the presence of the Registrar within a week of submitting a written request.
A third party can be given information about a student’s academic record only with the written consent of the student.
