Program Description: This certificate is designed for individuals who wish to take for the Earth/Space Science Subject Area Test sponsored by the Florida Department of Education.
Admission Requirements
Candidates seeking admission to this endorsement must complete an application file in the University’s Office of Admissions. An Institute faculty member reviews each complete application file, interviews the applicant and makes a recommendation on admission to the Office of Admissions. The Office of Admissions notifies an applicant of the decision. This application file must contain:
1. A completed application form submitted to the program leader.
2. A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a grade point
average of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) in bachelor’s degree work.
3. Provide official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
4. A Florida teaching certificate.
