TROPICAL STORM ERIKA, SATURDAY AUGUST 29, 2015, 2:30P.M.
As of 11am this morning, the National Hurricane Center has announced that Tropical Storm Erika has dissipated and is no longer an organized depression. This system may still produce rain and flooding; students, faculty and staff are urged to be cautious during any severe weather we may experience.
The University is operating its normal schedule. Programming for the rest of the weekend and classes for next week will proceed as regularly planned.
As you know, the tropical Hurricane Season lasts until November 30, 2015. The University Community is urged to review their preparedness plans and ensure that their contact information is up-to-date.
No additional advisories will be issued relating to this storm system. However, please continue monitoring our website for any new information that may become available.
