Federal Work Study

If your financial aid award includes Federal Work Study (FWS) employment, the amount shown is the total amount of money you may expect to earn during the award period as a result of work performed. If you are accepting the award, you must pick up a FWS welcome package, including your Job Assignment Form, at the training session which will be held in the beginning of each semester (date and time to be announced). Failure to complete and submit the required forms will result in the cancellation of your FWS award. To maintain eligibility for FWS, students must be enrolled full-time and maintain satisfactory academic progress. FWS students may work up to 7 hours a day with a half hour lunch break and a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Pay rates are based on grade level from the beginning of the academic year.
