Back by popular demand, St. Thomas University’s “Bid for the Future II” Online Auction will open March 3, 2008 and close on March 28, 2008. This auction has something for everyone…luxury vacation packages; great sports tickets, from the men’s tennis finals at the Sony Ericsson in Key Biscayne, FL, to infield seats at baseball stadiums around the country. The funds we raise will benefit student scholarships at St. Thomas University . It is truly guilt free shopping!

CLASS REUNIONS
The organizing committee for the Biscayne College Class of 1968 is currently accepting deposits for their 40th class reunion. The reunion will be held April 24-27, 2008 and will be headquartered at Shula’s Hotel and Golf Club in Miami Lakes , just a short drive from the campus. Reunion activities will include a Class of ’68 golf tournament, a reunion banquet, a back-to-campus barbecue, campus tours, a Saturday afternoon Mass in the beautiful Chapel of Saint Anthony and a getaway brunch. Members of the Class of 1973 will be celebrating their 35th class reunion in May 2008 when they gather in Miami for a weekend that promises to be a BLAST FROM THE PAST!
Mark your calendars now for the reunion! Dates are May 2-5, 2008. Festivities begin with an informal gathering at the reunion host hotel, the Doubletree Ocean Point Resort & Spa in North Miami Beach . Friday, alumni attending the reunion are encouraged to play in St. Thomas University ’s First Annual Leadership Golf Tournament at Jacaranda Country Club in Plantation . Following the golf, reunion activities continue with a welcome cocktail reception poolside at the Doubletree Resort.
Saturday festivities include a day at the beach and barbecue at the Doubletree, followed by campus tours, a reunion Mass and a poolside Paella Party at St. Thomas University . The cost to attend the reunion is $200, not including golf and hotel accommodations, which must be booked separately. ST. THOMAS UNIVERSITY LEADERSHIP GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Leadership Golf Tournament is open to all alumni and friends of St. Thomas University . The tournament will be held at Jacaranda Country Club in Plantation, FL. A fun-packed day is planned with prize contests for both pro-level players and weekend duffers. The Hole-in-One prize, a 2007 Hummer H3, will be sponsored by Williamson Cadillac. Before the 8:30 am shotgun start, a rib-sticking breakfast will be offered and the 19th Hole Luncheon will include a lavish buffet and a very entertaining awards ceremony.
