I. General Information

Q: When will the Compromis be released?
A: The Compromis is released in September every year. The specific release date of the Compromis for the current season can be found in the Schedule.
Q: When is the deadline for submitting Memorials?
A: Memorials must be submitted by the memorial submission deadline indicated in the Schedule. Memorials must be Memorials must be mailed to St. Thomas University School of Law in accordance with the Official Rules. It is the responsibility of teams to know the submission requirements.
II. ELIGIBILITY AND PARTICIPATION
Q: Which schools are eligible to participate in the S.J. Ferrell Competition?
A: All accredited law schools in the United States and abroad are eligible to participate in the Susan J. Ferrell Intercultural Human Rights Moot Court Competition. Please see the Official Rules for more detailed information regarding eligibility.
Q: Which students are eligible to participate on a S.J. Ferrell Team?
A: To qualify, a student must be enrolled in a J.D. or an LL.M. program, or their equivalents, in the institution to which team he or she will be a member. Students in fields other than law are not eligible to compete.
Q: How many students may participate on each S.J. Ferrell Team?
A: Each Team is required to have between two (2) and five (5) members. For more information, please see the Official Rules.
III. REGISTERING FOR COMPETITION
Q: How can my Team register for the Susan J. Ferrell Competition?
A: 1. Complete the Susan J. Ferrell Registration Form by the deadline specified in the Official Schedule.
2. Complete payment of the Registration Fee by the deadline specified in the Official Schedule.

Q: How much is the Registration Fee?
A: Registration Fee information is located on the Susan J. Ferrell Registration Form.
Q: What currency should I use to pay the Registration Fee?
A: The registration fee must be paid in U.S. Dollars.

A: Acceptable forms of payment include a check, money order or credit card (select "Make a Payment" from the drop down menu on www.stu.edu/law; enter information; please select "Ferrell Registration" from the drop down menu entitled "Select what the payment is for")
