The Hispanic Media Graduate Certificate is available to individuals who wish to acquire additional knowledge of Hispanic groups and professional skills to work in Hispanic media. The certificate program is designed for individuals who are currently working in media or related fields and those who wish to continue their studies beyond the Bachelor’s level. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree and must satisfy all other admissions requirements identified for the MA in Communication Arts and the Specialization in Hispanic Media described above.
The Hispanic Media Graduate Certificate requires completion of 12 credits offered in the specialization as listed below:

And Advertising*
COM 605 Hispanic Events Management and Public Relations
*Taught in Spanish
Courses completed in the certificate program with a grade of A or B may be transferred toward the M.A. in Communication Arts with a specialization in Hispanic Media upon acceptance into the Masters Degree program. Courses will be conducted in English with the exception of those identified as taught in Spanish.
