Interlibrary loan is a service that is available for St. Thomas University faculty, staff, and students. Patrons can use this service to request to borrow materials that the University Library does not own by filling out and submitting one of the forms above.
When a request form is received, the University Library requests to borrow the item(s) from another library. If the Library can borrow the requested materials, you will receive an e-mail when they arrive. Materials can be picked up at the Circulation Desk.
This process normally takes between 10 to 14 days and is free of charge, unless you keep the material past its due date.
If the material requested is a photocopy of an article, you do not need to return it
Books must be returned to the Circulation Desk by the date on the cover band. Please, do not remove the band from the book.

SEFLIN Library Cards
If there are materials at other local participating libraries that you wish to use, you can come to the Reference Desk at the University Library and request a SEFLIN Library Card. With this card, you can go a participating library and check out materials based on the terms of that library's circulation policies. A full list of all participating libraries is available on the SELFIN website.
SEFLIN Library Cards are only available to St. Thomas University faculty, staff, and students. Visitors should request a SEFLIN card at their participating university or public library.
