Master of Business Administration
Providing a balance between the quantitative and qualitative aspects of management, our Master of Business Administration degree focuses on the needs of our students and their employment responsibilities. Our program prepares students for the competitive business environment through core business concepts and real-world application. Because this degree is relevant to all industries and sectors, it is valuable regardless of the career chosen after graduation. We offer two options for students interested in pursuing a Master of Business Administration- a General MBA or an MBA with intensive preparation in one of six areas:
Degree Requirements
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program consist of 42 credits, 30 credits of core courses and 12 credits in the area of specialization. An additional three preparatory courses might be required to provide the needed base-skills for those students who have not successfully completed the following undergraduate: accounting, economics, and business statistics. Preparatory courses are offered in two formats; traditional classroom format with three 3 semester hours of credit each and an alternative one 1 semester hour, self-paced independent study format.
Part-time students taking two courses per semester can complete the program in as little as 21 months, if no preparatory courses are needed. Students are required to maintain a 3.0 (B) cumulative grade point average at all times for continuation in the program. Failure to register for two consecutive semesters/terms results in withdrawal from the University.
