Dr Adrienne Vynne, Professor of Computer and Information Science, joined the University in 1982. She holds undergraduate degrees form the University of Chapel North Carolina Chapel Hill and Cornell University, a Masters in Science in Computers and Information Systems from the University of Miami, and a Doctorate in Instructional Technology and Distance Education from Nova Southeastern University. She served 12 years as the Chair of the Department of Physical Science and Mathematics as well as the first Webmaster. Her Areas of interests include distance learning. In 2006 she presented at the US Education Conference in Beijing China on “Assessing Effective Interaction in Online Courses”.
