Only 20 minutes or so to the west of the campus, one can experience the Everglades, a unique wildlife habitat and national treasure. Several miles to the east lies radiant Miami Beach and neighboring coastal towns, offering many miles of beautiful beaches.South Florida residents enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, golf, tennis, and every other type of outdoor recreation on a year-round basis.
