The Miami Herald Neighbors section recently published an STU recognition: the award received by one of our alumni – a graduate from our graduate level Biscayne College’s Guidance and Counseling Program - MIA LAFRANCE, current counselor at DR. HENRY W. MACK/WEST LITTLE RIVER K-8 CENTER. Mia won the Teacher of the Year award and is competing as one of the six finalists for the Miami Dade County award.

Jubilee Issue Published
As a direct result of a truly university-wide effort, our peer-reviewed St. Thomas University’s Journal of Multidisciplinary Research Jubilee issue is featuring true multidisciplinary research by our colleagues and we are proud of their work. This Jubilee issue (Volume 3, Number 3) contains seven articles, a “Life Forward” section featuring an interview with the president of St. Thomas University the Rev. Monsignor Franklyn Casale, two student articles and a reflection paper in addition to two book reviews.
