Four-times Emmy award winner journalist Pamela Silva has now joined Univision 23’s and Telefutura 69’s morning newscast – “Al Amanecer”. As co-anchor, she will also cover the weather report, special features and investigative reports. “I am thrilled to take this new professional challenge”, said Silva. “I look forward to sharing my experience with the morning team and contributing to the goal of journalistic excellence while informing and serving the South Florida community.”

Pamela obtained her M.A. in Communication Arts, Hispanic Media Specialization at St. Thomas University. Housed within the School of Leadership Studies, the Hispanic Media Specialization features a bilingual curriculum, offering academic programs in event management, journalism, media marketing and advertising. Following St. Thomas University’s mission, it develops leadership that changes the world…whether in news media, environmental justice, human rights arena and more.
