STU to Host Transpacific Forum on Global Education
St. Thomas University is pleased to announce the Inaugural Transpacific Forum that will explore the issues, challenges, and opportunities in global education in the Twenty-First Century that face countries on both sides of the Pacific -- Argentina, Canada, Chile China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Taiwan, and United States, to name only a few, and that will facilitate and promote international collaborations and exchanges of faculty and students between St. Thomas University and higher education institutions around the Pacific Rim.
The Forum will be a two-day event: the first day will be devoted to plenary speeches and panel discussions, and the second will be used to explore the natural beauty and cultural diversity of South Florida, especially the cultures, cuisines, and colors of Miami.
