What if I want to drop a class?
If you want to drop a class that will take you below full-time registration, contact both your academic advisor and international student advisor.
How do I obtain authorization to drop below full-time from ISSS?
Reducing your course load below full-time can only be approved by ISSS based on one of the six reasons in accordance with the F-1 regulations that govern your F-1 status. These six reasons are outlined on the ISSS RCL form. If one of the reasons applies to your situation then you must complete the student section of the RCL form, have your academic adviser or dean sign and submit the completed form to your international student advisor.
