About the Residence Halls

It is our hope that students enjoy living on campus and feel very much at home with us. Residence hall living can be a very rewarding experience and the source of lifelong friendships and memories. Student housing at St. Thomas is staffed by people committed to helping you make the transition from living at home to living on your own as part of a close-knit community.

St. Thomas University’s on-campus housing facilities currently consist of four residence halls, Villanova Hall (select undergraduates, grad and law students) the University Inn (law, graduate and senior status undergraduate students), Cascia Hall (female only) and Donnellon Hall (male only). St. Thomas University is the sole proprietor of these facilities and regulates the day-to-day operations, maintenance and replacement cycle.

The University Inn was built in 1972 and completely renovated in Summer 2006. They are single occupancy, motel-style rooms. Each has a sectioned dressing alcove with vanity and an adjacent bathroom containing a toilet and bathtub/shower unit. Each University Inn room is approximately 12”5’ x 25”.

Cascia (1966) and Donnellon (1966) Halls are traditional-style corridor residence halls with community bathroom facilities. Each room is approximately 16” x 12”.

Villanova Hall is our newest residence hall and opened Spring 2007. This four-story residence hall includes private suites with private baths (law & graduate students) and shared suites with private bedrooms and shared living rooms (select undergraduates).

The residence halls feature laundry rooms, study lounge (Donnellon & Villanova), television rooms and recreational areas. All residence hall rooms are furnished with a single-bed, clothing armoire, desk, and chair and dresser for each resident.
