Susan J. Ferrell Intercultural Human Rights
Moot Court Competition

The Susan J. Ferrell Moot Court Competition, now in its 9th year, is a competition revolving around a simulated court proceeding, in which teams representing both sides of the argument prepare written pleadings with respect to a fictional problem of international human rights law and policy, and present their arguments in an oral argument before the International Court of Justice.

Winners of the Ferrell Trophy 2013, the team from City University of Hong Kong and the 2nd Best Team from Florida International University College of Law with judges of the final round, His Excellency Judge Fausto Pocar, Professor John Kang, Ms. Danielle Boaz and the faculty advisors of the competition, Professor Siegfried Wiessner and Professor Roza Pati as well as the competition coordinator, Ms. Alexandra Salvador, St. Thomas University School of Law.
