Tutoring Services

The Academic Enhancement Center provides assistance to students who, for whatever reason, need or desire help in their academic endeavors. The center helps students succeed in their academic coursework. Individualized tutoring services are offered free of charge. Interested students are encouraged to make an appointment to work with a tutor of their choice. Specialized software may be used for both enrichment and remediation.

Appointments can be done by phone or by visiting the Academic Enhancement Center. Tutoring services are offered in the following areas for undergraduate students who are currently enrolled at St. Thomas University (Note: availability of skill areas are subject to change):

MATH STUDY GROUP SESSIONS (conducted by Professor Steven Diaz) - SPRING 2010:

• MAT 109 (Math for Liberal Arts) - Monday: 12:00PM - 1:00PM

Math study group sessions are held at the Academic Enhancement Center Lab A. You can sign up in person to attend the group sessions, or you can call Monica Hilversum-Perez at 305-628-6631. Walk-ins are also welcomed!
