Honors Program

 

Biscayne College offers an Honors Program, which provides an intensive and stimulating curriculum for students who wish to enhance their college experience. Classes are smaller and are taught by faculty who are recognized nationally as leaders in their fields. The classroom setting provides for discussion and interaction with students and faculty alike.The Honors Program also provides a sense of community where like minded students can gather socially as well as intellectually.

As a group, honors students also celebrate events each semester which include visits to historic sites, museums or concerts. They also sponsor on campus events as varied as barbeques, guest speakers or films.

In conclusion, the honors program provides community and intellectual fulfillment for those who qualify. Although it is housed in Biscayne College, the Honors rogram is open to all St. Thomas University full time undergraduate students.
