Did You Know?
Interesting, funny, and historical facts

The Miami Dolphins practiced at St. Thomas University for 23 seasons, and were a part of everyday life on campus. In those days, it was not unusual to see a player or coach walking to and from the cafeteria or anyone of them leaving school after practice in their sports cars. Head Coach, Don Shula, and his wife were active members of the St. Thomas community. Coach Shula attended daily mass celebrated by Fr. Chambers, the team Chaplain. Mrs. Dorothy Shula was the President of the Friends of the Library and their youngest daughter, Annie, attended St. Thomas University and played on the soccer team. The Dolphins left St. Thomas University in 1993, but no matter what, they remain our number one team. GO ALL THE WAY DOLPHINS!!!
