2001

Alan Hancock, M.S. Sports Administration, recently joined Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL, as a professor in the sports marketing and media bachelor’s degree program. He is enjoying teaching and helping the next generation of sports marketers

John Vassiliou, M.S. Sports Administration, moved to Pennsylvania in August 2012 to accept the Dean of Student Affairs position at Montgomery County Community College.



2002

Nino Berticelli, M.S. Sports Administration, accepted the Associate Director of Athletics position at Chicago State University (IL) where he oversees compliance.

Nerry Louis, B.A. English, has been a Miami Dade County teacher for the past 11 years.



2003

Bret Tollefson, JD/M.S., is working at a law firm that specializes in white-collar tax criminal defense.



2004

Paulette Perryman, J.D., of Ft. Lauderdale, was admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and New York in 2012. Admitted to Florida in 2004, she specializes in insurance litigation.

Christopher Ambrosio, J.D., is a partner at Johnson, Anselmo, Murdoch, Burke, Piper & Hochman, P.A.  Chris represents a majority of the municipalities in South Florida and the Florida Keys.



2005

Brandon Brown, M.S. Sports Administration, moved to Indianapolis to accept a job at MainGate, Inc. as an event assistant. Brandon travels around the country to his assigned events to run the event’s merchandise sales.


 
Eric Smith, M.B.A. Sports Administration, has returned to his undergraduate alma mater, West Virginia University, as Coordinator of the Wellness Program at WVU Healthcare. Eric was married to Allison Hedrick on March 22, 2012, at a ceremony on Smathers Beach in Key West.

Salomie P. Chung, B.A. Organizational Leadership ’03 and M.B.A. Business Administration ’05, recently because a licensed realtor.

Curtis Gilpin, M.S. Sports Administration, was named Acting Athletic Director at the University of the Virgin Islands.



2006


Raimundo Lopez-Lima Levi, MAC, is managing member of Lopez-Levi, a boutique international tax and consulting firm in
Coral Gables, FL. In November 2012, Lopez-Levi acquired the long-standing firm of Pierce & Bowen of Homestead, FL, to better serve the firm’s growing commodities and agriculture practice.

Kevin Shea, M.B.A., recently took a new position as Territory Sales Manager for North and South Carolina with Paradigm, a specialty hematology/oncology diagnostic laboratory. He lives in Charlotte, NC.



2007

Sharlin Aldao, B.A., Political Science & History, became engaged to Philip Carrillo on November 13, 2012. They met through
a mutual friend in Chicago in 2009. They currently live in the Chicago northwest suburbs and will be married May 18, 2013 in the Pabst Mansion in Milwaukee, WI.


Amelie Gagnon, M.S. Sports Administration, is currently at TAMM Management working in business development and as a legal consultant in Vancouver, Canada. She is married to Tommy and they have two daughters Makayla & Maddox.

Bryan Shelangoski, M.B.A. Sports Administration, accepted the position of Associate Director/Community Manager for Education Realty Trust at the University of Louisville. He is directly involved with a $10M budget for campus housing and residential life. Additionally, Bryan started working toward a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Organization Development with a specialty in Sports Administration.



2008


Karla Hernandez-Mats, M.S. Business Management, is an active member of the Hialeah Church of Christ and United Teachers of Dade and serves as Activities Director at Hialeah Middle School. Karla was Hialeah Middle School’s Teacher of the Year for 2010-2011. She is married to Felix Mats ’04, STU Men’s Head Soccer Coach.

Nate Thompson, M.B.A. Business Administration, was promoted to Ticket Operations Manager with the Cleveland Indians in Cleveland, OH.



2009


Robin Harmony, M.S. Sports Administration,
was inducted into the ACC Women’s Basketball Legends and was recently named the Head Women’s Basketball Coach for Division I Lamar University, in Beaumont, TX.



Giovanni Hernandez, M.S. Sports Administration, was recently recruited away from the Detroit Tigers organization by Major League Baseball in New York to be their International Baseball Operations Manager.
