The mission of the Office of Sponsored Research & Programs (OSRP) is to foster an environment that encourages research and scholarly inquiry by faculty and students, to assist with applications for external funding, and to help the university assure compliance with funding agency policies and requirements.
The Research Development Program (RDP) provides outreach and resources to promote faculty and student research.
The OSRP and RDP support the mission of St. Thomas University in several important ways:
· Fostering a environment supporting faculty and student research.
· Support grant writing for external research funding
· Supporting student involvement in research and scholarship.
· Stimulate research on human diversity throughout the world.
· Working with the community to develop partnerships.
· Supporting the ethical treatment of human & animal reesearch participants.
