As the Dean of the School of Business, I would like to welcome you to St. Thomas University. I am pleased to introduce you to my colleagues in the faculty, students, and staff. Most importantly, I invite you to become part of the School of Business successful educational experience.
The School serves the higher education needs of future business leaders by offering academic programs that combine outstanding teaching in core business subjects, while preparing students in a value-driven environment that emphasizes business ethics and leadership skills. Our graduates earning Bachelor or Masters Degrees find an array of career opportunities in such fields as Management, Accounting, Finance, Marketing and Economics. Within these core business fields, we offer specializations in Health Care Management, International Business, and Tourism and Hospitality. The School’s Sports Administration specialization is Nationally recognized. We are also in the final stage for developing a B.A. degree in Economics, an Executive MBA degree and a Marine Industry Management specialization.
Our priority as educators is to foster intellectual inquiry, leadership development and commitment to community service through engagement of students in a unique learning experience. We challenge our students to acquire a long-term vision of the rapidly changing world, appreciate diverse perspectives from global and local contexts, and enhance the students’ level of knowledge and problem-solving capabilities in business affairs of the 21st Century.
