Dr. Som(nath) Bhattacharya is the Dean of the Gus Machado School of Business and Professor of Accounting at St. Thomas University. He previously served as Interim Dean and Associate Dean for the College of Business at Florida Atlantic University.

Bhattacharya’s research explores the impact of ERP systems on corporate successes and failures. He has published in the Journal of Information Systems; International Journal of Accounting Information Systems; Issues in Accounting Education, etc. He has also published columns and op-ed pieces on business issues in the Orlando Sentinel; and the Palm Beach Post.
