PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITES
She has been a faculty member since August 2002. Prior to joining the faculty she worked as adjunct instructor for about 8 years. She received her Ed.D. from FIU in 1995, and has graduate degrees from Hofstra University in New York, an MBA in 1975, and from St. Thomas University a M.A.C. in 1997, her Bachelor in Business is from Villanueva in Havana.
From 1996 to 1997 Dr. Ogazon worked for Florida National College, a junior college, as Campus Dean. This one-year special assignment ended with the successful completion of accreditation process of this junior college. From 1988 to 1995 she was training coordinator of the Latin America Journalism Program at FIU School of Journalism and Mass Communication, a project funded by the Department of Democratic Initiatives of the Agency for International Development of the US State Department where she was trainer of trainers and monitor of project evaluation and progress assessment. In 1997 she worked as Senior Research Assistant at Gonzalez & Bauer and was associated with The Langhorne Company as Senior Financial Analyst through 2002, until the time she became a full time faculty at St, Thomas University.
