The St. Thomas University Master of Business Administration degree is designed for students who are currently in, or plan to enter responsible positions of management. The MBA program provides a balance between the quantitative and qualitative aspects of management and focuses on the needs of part-time students who may have special concerns because of their employment responsibilities. The MBA also provides an opportunity for full-time students to complete the degree program in as few as five terms.
St. Thomas University offers two options for students interested in pursuing a Master of Business Administration, a General MBA or an MBA with intensive preparation in one of six areas: accounting, general management, health management, international business, sports administration or human resource management.

The MBA with Human Resource Management Specialization:
The program consist of (42) credits, thirty (30) credits of core courses and twelve (12) credits in the area of specialization. Preparatory courses are offered in two formats; traditional classroom format with three (3) semester hours of credit each and an alternative one (1) semester hour, self-paced independent study format.
Part-time students taking two courses per semester can complete the program in as little as 21 months, if no preparatory courses are needed. Students are required to maintain a 3.0 (B) cumulative grade point average at all times for continuation in the program. Failure to register for two consecutive semesters/terms results in withdrawal from the University. Passing a Comprehensive Examination is required for graduation. All Graduate academic policies apply.
