Master of International Business
As global economies become more tightly interconnected, organizations demand global leaders who understand how to manage within socio-cultural and political environments. For instance, business professionals who understand the role of government in international relations and global commerce will have a clear advantage within these environments. Our International Business program offers degrees at both the undergraduate and graduate program enabling students to think globally and understand the international marketplace.
The Master of International Business (MIB) program has an exclusive international focus and is designed to enable graduates to operate successfully in positions of managerial responsibility in global corporations. The 30 credit curriculum combines 12 credit hours of quantitative and basic business skills needed for sound decision-making with 18 credit hours of international business core to provide students with a uniquely global perspective. Pre-requisites may apply.
Upon completion of this program students will:
- Apply their critical thinking skills acquired from exposure to specific functional theories and practices to strategic organizational issues.
- Express their ideas and recommendations in a concise and professional fashion by utilizing their verbal, analytical and writing skills to solve case studies.
Cross-cultural management skills, regional business practices and an international business internship/field experience are essential components of the program
