Welcome. It is my pleasure to introduce to you St. Thomas University School of Law — a law school unlike any other in the nation.

As one of the country’s most diverse law schools, St. Thomas University School of Law offers a truly unique learning environment where intellectual debate flourishes within a friendly, close-knit community. Our exceptonal faculty, leaders in scholarship and the practice of law, maintain an open-door policy encouraging students to interact with their professors on a personal level.

At St. Thomas University School of Law, we are grounded in the Catholic traditions of service, social justice, and ethical behavior. Our steadfast commitment to services is manifested in all we do, including our Pro Bono program, one of only a handful of such programs in the country.

The curriculum at St. Thomas focuses on the development of practical skills. Our numerous clinical and internship programs provide students with opportunity to put into practice that which they have learned in the classroom. Through these experiences, students gain valuable skills while ministring to the underserved.

Home to federal and state trial and appellate courts, as well as a thriving international legal community, Miami is an exceptional place to learn the law.

These are just a handful of the qualities which set apart a St. Thomas Law School education. I invite you to learn more about us on our website and by visiting our campus. Our door is always open.

My best wishes,

Alfredo Garcia
Dean & Professor of Law
