Iris Garcia is the Bibliographic Control Librarian for the Alex A. Hanna Law Library at St. Thomas University’s School of Law. Since joining the law library in 2008, she oversees the daily functions and projects of the cataloging and serials departments. She is responsible for the creation of records and physical processing of the library’s collections, as well as the performance and maintenance of TOMCAT, the law library catalog.
Iris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Florida International University in 2003 and a Master of Library Science from the University of South Florida in 2008. She is active in local and national professional organizations, including the American Association of Law Libraries.
